Hi My Darling!
A little about me -
Welcome & Hello! My name is Caitlin, I'm the lady behind all of Darling at Dusk... A little bit about me, I'm a mumma! I have two daughters, Arabella and Murphy. I'm married to my darling husband and bestfriend Matty & I'm a fur mummy to my Border Collie, Tally. I'm an avid science nerd, I have a BHs specialising in Public Health and having a break from working out on the field whilst enjoying my creative passions and being a mum (oh how I love being a mummy). Anyone who knows me, would probably say I’m a bit of a luvo and would enjoy being in front of the camera… but my passion for being behind the lens isn’t comparable. I've been on and off the camera for many years and was a huge hobby during my schooling, but have upskilled myself in my passions and have finally committed to capturing all things wonderful. If there is ever an opportunity to, I've absolutely LOVED pulling out the 35mm and capturing in film (a very expensive but loved hobby).

My Approach
Authentically you - I'm all about the moment and to capture the memories that come naturally in all the connections and each session is personalised. I work with the natural light and each person as they come. In each session, my aim and approach is to ensure all sessions are authentic with all the raw and wonderful moments with either yourself, lover, bubba or family. It is so important that you can value your session with me and be able to look back and feel the love within the moment, let's get those silly out and capture those belly laughs, kisses and all of the aspects that make you, authentically you. If you are super awkward and the obvious 'camera shy', do not fear! I hope to ensure that it is super relaxed and you can let loose.
In terms of my approach, I really do thrive on authenticity personalising each session to the couple/family that i'm shooting and My whole heart goes into documenting one of the most important times of your life. I might use different lighting techniques.. but I'm here for the candid moments, thats my vibe! My dedication to telling your story and capturing all that I can will ensure that we want to be authentic and to have the real moments, so I'm here to help! In terms of newborns, if you're into babies squashed and swaddled into poses, dressed up as bunnies or propped up, that isn't my style and I'm not the photographer for you. I really pride myself in capturing what is real and documenting the authenticity and enhancing the already beautiful parts of you and your family.
